With bench top space at a premium, it’s important for labs working across a range of applications to efficiently use the space available. Unlike other tube racks, this multi-purpose rack is specifically designed with the flexibility to hold 5 mL, 15 mL, tubes and 17 mm blood collection tubes firmly in place to assist technicians constantly alternating between sample vessels.

How does this multi-purpose rack work? The rack incorporates two moving hinged upper shelves that can be rotated to an up or down position to accommodate the size of the tube being used. In addition, the wells have a unique teardrop design that enables easier insertion and better retention of tubes over traditional designs.

• Racks holds 5 or 15mL tubes (or tubes up to 17 mm in diameter) or a combination of 20 – 5 mL, 15mL or 16 mm tubes.
