Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) is a sterile, light brown colored liquid separated from the blood of the bovine fetus. All material meets the approval of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is obtained from sources free of BSE, Foot and Mouth Disease, and other reportable diseases pertaining to the species.
